Abstract
Motor transport is one of the main sources of noise pollution. Each year, the number of people who are exposed to increased noise levels
grows, especially in large cities. To reduce the spread of noise, noise barriers are built. Noise barriers are manufactured using a variety of
materials. The paper analyzes how the noise level and spectrum is changed by aluminium, “Durisol” block, wooden and brick noise
barriers. The change of noise level at low, medium and high frequencies is also analyzed.
Keywords: aluminium; brick; “Durisol” block; wooden; noise barriers; noise spectrum.
